My incredibly accurate string based measuring of routes would appear to show that the Drum and back is 6km, but this is regardless of whether you do a long loop out across the muddy field of Doom and back down the A20, or just hoon it down a perfectly straight road and back; that can't be right. Any good ideas where to find an estimate of distance tool?

ouch ouch ouch
Ran in again today - so another 12km. About 1.25, which isn't a great time, but I'm still recovering from that Stakhanovite effort on Tuesday, not to mention Wednesday.
