Hooray for the Christmas Goat

Web cam here.
For those of you that haven't heard, every year the good people of Gavle in Sweden build a goat out of hay bales, to celebrate Christmas. I know that few of the words in that sentence make sense once conjoined together, but hey ho. Most years, the goat is destroyed in one catastrophe or another. (Here's the list - best read in a mournful Swedish accent. My favourite is probably 1987, although the year I was born was kind of amusing too.)
But this year, the goat may yet survive: "This year we celebrate his 40th birthday and the best present we could give him is to keep him alive." Let's hope so...

Ha ha, I see someone has already tried to burn it down this year. This is really most exciting!
