Year of Eating Differently (81): British Museum Teahouse


While they've got the Terracotta Army (well, Terracotta soldiers, at least) there's a teahouse in the middle of the grand hall of the British Museum. Went up there and had dim sum - inordinately bright green dumplings, and spring rolls. Finished off with a banana coconut puff that was surprisingly good, plus a few custard tarts that seemed almost small enough to constitute amuse bouches instead. Not much volume and pricy as far as dim sum goes, but ah! the surroundings....
