Year of Eating Differently (81): British Museum Teahouse

While they've got the Terracotta Army (well, Terracotta soldiers, at least) there's a teahouse in the middle of the grand hall of the British Museum. Went up there and had dim sum - inordinately bright green dumplings, and spring rolls. Finished off with a banana coconut puff that was surprisingly good, plus a few custard tarts that seemed almost small enough to constitute amuse bouches instead. Not much volume and pricy as far as dim sum goes, but ah! the surroundings....

Year of Eating Differently (70): Ping Pong

It's dim sum. It takes quite a long time to come. Everything is round. Lampshades, tables, bowls. To be honest, that's not the most impressive design work that somebody could do. The tea is good though.
