After that, I was actually quite scared that it wouldn't live up to expectations, but it was better than that. The vegetable roti was a proper filthy meal, complete with bright yellow sauce, wrapped up in a flatbread that was much superior to Hannan's effort yesterday. Good, warming fare on a cold wet day - although following Time Out's prediction, I may well be falling asleep at my desk later on.

Year of Eating Differently (54): Mr Jerk, Wardour Street
Not to be confused with Jerk City, but here's a more spacious Caribbean restaurant, just two doors down. More of a restaurant than some kind of food counter (which means no bright yellow patties) but I do get the chance to try out a vegetable roti. Service was prompt, and there's lots of good reviews from magazines on the counter.
