More fever

Waking this morning without a fever but with a terrible headache, I lay in bed for a few hours until my wife returned and pointed out I was incredibly hot again. While the mammoth doses of ibuprofen have been keeping the fever down, as they wear off the heat just spikes back up.

Flat out

It's interesting to have a really high fever, because it feels like a window into a time when I'm lobotomised. I've been sluggish, listless, incapable of attempting large scale endeavour. I haven't even been able to play games on the Xbox.

Tropical Paradise

My temperature went up to 39.2 today, which is something to be proud of; I'm always pushing the limits of my body. If it's not having veins that are filled with finest cheese, it's radiating heat off my body like a 3 bar fire.

Cresting over a fevered brow

Today the office seemed especially cold. To prevent the air conditioners blowing on their desks, people have been sellotaping sheets of paper over the vents to redirect the flow. Unfortunately for me, that has meant a constant deluge of icy cold air onto my head from every direction.
